Who's who in this salon:

Ali Stroker is a groundbreaking performer with an inspiring story. In 2009, Ali became the first actress in a wheelchair to earn a degree from the NYU Tisch Drama Department. The GLEE and GLEE PROJECT star made history as the first actress in a wheelchair to appear on a Broadway stage in Deaf West's 2015 revival of  Spring Awakening.  A native of Ridgewood, New Jersey, Ali has also performed Off-Broadway and in numerous solo shows and group concerts at prestigious venues including the Kennedy Center, Town Hall and Lincoln Center.  Ali's remarkable ability to improve the lives of other people through the arts, whether they be disabled or not, is captured in her principle of "Making Your Limitations Your Opportunities."

Ali's Musical Director, Ted Arthur

Ted Arthur is a New York-based Music Director, Arranger and Pianist. He currently works at WICKED on Broadway as a keyboard sub and rehearsal pianist and soon will be working at DEAR EVAN HANSEN. The Charity: Life Rolls On

Life Rolls On is dedicated to improving the quality of life for young people affected by spinal cord injury. Believing that adaptive surfing and skating could inspire infinite possibilities beyond paralysis, Life Rolls On began as a splash into the unknown on September 11, 2001 and, by organizing 11 events across the United States every year, now touches the lives of hundreds of thousands.

Life Rolls On Founder, Jesse Billauer

Jesse was one of the top 100 junior surfers in the world, a month away from turning professional, when in March 1996 a wave threw him headfirst into a sandbar. The impact broke his sixth vertebrae, instantly rendering him a quadriplegic. But Jesse decided his story would not end that day in the ocean. With the help of the surf community, he pioneered adaptive equipment, rallied loyal volunteers, and now leads hundreds of thousands of wheelchair athletes into the freedom of surfing and skating.  In 2015, Jesse won GOLD for Team UJA, becoming the first event World Champion of Adaptive Surfing... proof that everything in life is possible.
